Placement Services

SW TITLE PROS specializes in the placement of experienced title professionals.   The following categories are currently being placed:

• Sr. Escrow Officers (Residential and/or Commercial)
• Commercial/Acreage Examiners
• Agency Management Specialists

We currently have openings for Sr. Escrow Officers.  The candidates that we are assisting in placement are typically very experienced, with a minimum of 5-7 years of closing experience.  If you not only have the skill, whether in residential or commercial transactions, to handle most types of closing situations, but also possess the ability to manage a team of assistants and/or junior closers, we would like to hear from you!  The ideal job candidate will also have a book of business that is portable and can produce some evidence of past closings and business production.  Unfortunately, we typically do not place "house" closers with no business contacts.

As most residential title production has moved off-shore, we typically place only Commercial or Acreage Examiners.   A viable candidate will possess at least 10 years experience in examination and be able to demonstrate not only a command of commercial underwriting practices, but an advanced knowledge of metes and bounds, legal case review, and policy/endorsement coverages depending on the state and location.

This category of title professionals includes Agency Management specialists, escrow accounting personnel, and underwriting staff.    

• Agency Management candidates will have 10-15 years of agency management experience.  Please note this is not escrow experience or branch manager work.  The requirements for our current openings include a knowledge of underwriting contracts, title plant agreements, and various Insurance Department requirements (by specific state).  While HR is a plus, it is not a main criteria for the job listings we have open.  

• Escrow Accounting professionals are those with at least 3 years of bank reconciliation experience in a title environment.  Your resume should also include knowledge and experience with various online treasury management systems for banking as well as positive pay input, review and exception clearing.  

• Underwriting candidates are professionals with 10-15 years of in-house underwriting decision-making experience.  Most successful candidates have an advanced knowledge of title searching including title plant management experience as well as coverages on policies and endorsements coupled with a substantial amount of actual title experience to draw upon.  

• Fees: Candidates are not charged for placement. Placement fees are paid by your future employer.
